This is my pesonal opinion on how Clan Mechs rate, broken down in PUG and CW matches.
Pug.

Tier 1
Storm Crow (Speed and Firepower)
Timber Wolf (Speed and Firepower)

Tier 2
Hell Bringer (ECM and decent Firepower)
Dire Wolf (Lots of firepower, moves like a building stuck in mud)
Ebon Jaguar (Speed and Firepower) May actually end up a Tier 1 once advanced out.

Tier 3
Executioner (A slow Gargoyle with less free space than a medium)
Gargoyle (A fast Ecxecutioner with less free space than a medium)
Warhawk (Is as big as a Direwolf with a lot less firepower)
Ice Ferret (Fast striker that can take some hits)
Mad Dog (Great support mech)
NOVA (good escort for heavies and assaults)

Tier 4
Summoner (Suckoner for a reason. Less free space than almost every mech except a light)
Adder (Removing that damn flamer was a great first step)
KitFox (Slow, and is easily disarmed)
Mistlynx (Fast jumper that blows up if sneezed on)

CW

Tier 1
Storm Crow (Speed and Firepower)
Timber Wolf (Speed and Firepower)

Tier 2
Hell Bringer (ECM and decent Firepower)
Ebon Jaguar (Speed and Firepower) May actually end up a Tier 1 once advanced out.

Tier 3
Ice Ferret (Fast striker that can take some hits)
Mad Dog (Great support mech)
NOVA (good escort for heavies and assaults)

Tier 4
Dire Wolf (weighs too much and is too damn slow)
Executioner (Weighs too much and not enough firepower)
Gargoyle (See Executioner)
Warhawk (See Executioner)
Summoner (Just sucks)
Adder (Only used as a filler for free space in a drop deck)
KitFox (See Adder)
Mist Lynx (See Adder)

So what is my usually drop deck? Right now I am using

EBJ, EBJ, EBJ and IFR. Perfect 240. It will change once I level up the EBJ.

What I was using
TBR, HBR, SCR, IFR. Perfect 240.

Because it is my personal opinion. You don't like it, move along. No one is forcing you to read it.

I think a drop deck composed of the Lokis, Timbies, Jags and Stormcrows will be the standard in CW until Cheetahs show up. The SCat will be a wildcard, as a stealthy ECM LPL sniper could be very useful, especially at 45 tons.

I think the Jag is Tier 1 for sure once mastered. It has all the makings for a great mech, plus its hitboxes seem great. I've able to spread damage easily with it. However, I think I still personally prefer the Hellbringer. After all, ECM = Easy Crutch Mech.

I think it should be " ECM + many high points = Easy Crutch Mech".

IMO the Nova should move up a tier or two with red lasers.

Also, Summoner turns out to be capable of the most powerful pure streak alpha ever (editing what came out wrong)IMO is the best in the world of streak boat powerhouses. With a little footwork/positioning, I'll say at least tier 3. Tier 2 definitely, if you count the fact that if you can do well you get lots of $$ consistently.

Though lack of viable build diversity is a downer for these two mechs. At least, as far as I can tell.

And nobody told you to share on the forums, but you did, so we will comment.

Your HBR is too low, same with EBR. Both are tier 1 in CW and normal queue. Nova is tier 2 now, just watch some comp games. Summoner is T3 or T2 because poptart. IFR is tier 2 for CW because of tonnage, maybe normals too because crazy quirks. DWF is tier 1 in normal games, best assault in the game.

How can the Summoner out do the MDD?

MDD can run streak 36 (6x SSRM 6's) and SCR still does a better job of light hunting MDD is just a poacher/ waits for light to come to him.

Oh I meant that out of the pure streak boats Summoner is the best because of JJs. Sadly I wandered off in the middle of writing that comment and had a little memory problem when I came back...
sry 'bout that.

Anyways, mobility tends to be the best way to go.

you seem you don't do a basic stat comparison too

I think he's trying to say that the TW is fast for its tonnage and firepower. Most TWs have 50-60 alphas, but can go as fast as a lighter mech.

For the EJ, it has a lot of firepower for its speed, about the same as a TW. Only downside is less armour.

I found his comparison pretty useful reflection of the meta.

With regards to the ranking, I'm not too sure is about the DW being tier 2 given the number of complaints about it, especially solo. Everyone just pours everything into one the moment they see it, and its too sluggish to go anywhere, with a huge CT hitbox too. I guess its earth shattering firepower makes up for it, being able to core mediums in 1 alpha.
