Right now, the first IP has much better ping and less hops than the second one. Cox broadband, south western US, Pacific Timezone.

ISP: Bigpipe (Fiber 200/200Mbps)
Basically shaved off 40ms (103.9.100.1) on and 10ms (203.175.175.203) off my average latency on the American servers (200-210ms). Still not great for competitive with the Aussie crowd, you'd want less than 50ms not 160ms.

Looks like TPG routes everyone in Perth through Sydney no matter how bad that makes the customer experience. One thing to note - TPG is acquiring iiNet (and thus Internode and WestNet), so iiNet Perth customers that currently demonstrate low pings should not have those results taken seriously as when TPG takes control it's likely they will be routed through the same pipes that TPG is using.
