When I look back, recent Packs with early adopter 'Mechs actually have 4 robots instead of 3 like before (with the 4th being the early adopter variant) . So if you think it's not fair, maybe just pretend that the 4th robot is not there like it's used to be?

Had there only been 3 variants then I wouldn't be encountering EXE-Primes, As and Bs all over the shop with 7 laser hardpoints in the one arm, and the only missile omnipods on the EXE period.

I get the point of the DWF-S and the rest of the actually desirable additional Clan Wave variants that were released after the fact for cash, and I would probably in fact pay for an EXE-D if there was a way that was financially reasonable (say $20 or below in addition to the whole Wave 3). But the concept and idea that you cannot get access to two of the most powerful parts of the EXE hands down just because you paid for it a day late smacks of stupidity.

This isn't a "Waaaaghhh, I didn't get there it time so I cannot haz nice toys!" post. This is a "WTF, you had my money and you tricked me, but it was my oversight and thus fault that allowed that (not doing my homework to figure out that the other EXEs don't really compare to the D's pods), now take some more money and give me what I want."
