Everybody has their favorite Pug Stompy Mech. My Pug Stompy Mech just happens to be this:

Let me know if you are brave enough to use this mech. I'd like to drop with you.

Hah.

You're missing a pulse laser on this build.

Been running my 9xMPLAS since open beta.

Ahh... a pilot who values Wubs and speed over his/her own safety.

Can you keep up with my XL400 Wubshee?

Almost the build I run. On my 4P I lose the arm laser and drop the engine to 270, but I carry 8 DHS. Shoulder scalpel and a backup in the head or a long run of constant green death. And it's still fast enough to grab cover. Not as daring as yours, but I still wreck a lot of metal.

A non-XL variant with plenty of wub to give.

ahh yes, the venerable swayback... I've been using one since waaaay back in closed beta, where we only had 1 mech for each weight class, and 2 maps. AND WE LIKED IT lol. I regularly field one. with this config:

Lose a few lasers, and you gain much better cooling efficiency. also 98kph zombieback ftw (fully elite mind you.. dont want to get anyones hopes up lol)

the HBK-4P is great and all, but I also run this:

HBK-4J. 4J you say? BLASPHEMY! buuuuuut, I can run the exact build as above, with the added advantage of no hunch. HOWS DEM APPLES

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...3a79cc5ebc9bb15

when I run these mechs I generally wreak faces... err backs. my strategy for these builds are using it as a backstabbing flanker. I wait for the furball to start, then swing wide. get behind the enemy team, and usually, I have cored 2 to 3 mechs before they notice me. nothing is more satisfying than coring an Atlas that doesn't even turn to face you once that first alpha lays into his back. LOL

Here's my version that almost always throws up 500+ dmg and multiple kills. Mods are Radar Dep, Advanced Sensor Range, Target Info Gathering and LPL range and cool down little less heat problems than the Mpls build not as big an alpha but a bad ass fast skirmish with a big range. I've taken down assaults in this thing by coring them with the LPL's in about 4 salvo's =)

More heatsinks = more times you can fire.

Heres my bucket, not a pugstomper but takes advantage of that big hunch on the side (with ER LL range module and adv zoom)

Fun mech to mess around with, if you manage to flank someone strips rear armor faster than a golddigger when you arrive a a date with an exotic car.
