Several of my fellow MWO enthusiasts have an issue you may be able to help us with (developers implementing something along thees lines as well as the support of those who feel the same way).

As some of us out there accumulate Mechs, we must expand our Bay. beyond the 4 freebies given to us at the start (which is fine), buying in any amount we desire at the time (in my case ending up with a total of 29 Mech Bays).

the problem we face is being able to organize our Frames in some sort of system that suits all of our categorizing needs.

Example
:player ( a ) would like to organize his collection by weight and model,
player ( b ) desires to separate his Mechs by engagement range,
player ( c ) wants to have his Mechs separated by engine size used.

and im sure the list could go on and on, but for right now this example fits.

What im suggesting is Giving us that space in the splash loader where the developers dedicated the space for rental Mechs and owned Mechs to be reserved to give us "customizable Folders" that would allow us to create a good amount of "dividers" for whatever our cataloging needs are.

i would also implore you to add this feature for free as to sweeten the idea of buying expansion Mech bays.

Good call. Seems like the obvious spot for this feature. Some players are definitely going to develop very large personal garages, so customizable filtering will save a lot of time. This is more than a selection issue, it's about efficiently managing your components, and that will become even more important as the game grows.
