I have a question and this may be a good place to ask it.
i have watched series like
-stargate (all of them)
-farscape
-battle star
-fire fly

and i was hoping you guys knew others, preferably not to old (for example i (dont hate me :P) find star trek a bit to dated..)

I don't know of any other ones like those, but I would recommend Almost Human (Another brilliant gem that Fox canceled).

sr wasnt trying to make your life difficult it was just my opinion.. i will try to follow the rules

The Expanse. It's either out now or out very soon. Don't watch TV myself but I'm reading the books, and the low-fantasy semi-hard sci-fi is pretty damn good.

1. Doctor Who (the 2005 reboot)
2. Sunshine (a movie from 2008'ish)
3. Interstellar
4. Tron Uprising
5. Star Wars Rebels
6. Agents of Shield, The Flash, Arrow and recent comic book based series were good.
7. The 100

The first few episodes of Bablyon 5 were extremely awkward. Things pick up as the series progresses. There are also a few stand alone Babylon 5 movies that were decent, if I'm remembering right.

If you ever watch anime, Coyboy Beebop is in same vien as Firefly.
