Sell the Invasion (I) variants in-game for MC. Problem fixed. No geometry problems, no omni-pod arguements, simple. Easy.

I disagree.. I believe the (I) variants are kinda... well... ugly. Definatelly not distinct enough..

I wanna see a Timberwolf hero with unique geometry, unique paint scheme, unique slots and quirks, and perhapse unique abilities (like ECM - Bounty Hunter I'm looking at YOU).

I would love to have back their paintjobs, on the other hand there are several prominent Clan characters that could have their own hero.. Were it for me, i would not even care if they have the same loadout of a standard configuration. I would buy one just for its name and c-bill bonus.

I don't mind at all

but I DO remember the cries and woes and the sky is falling whining about pay to win when Heroes were first announced
that's why we have hero mechs that suck

so how youre gonna fix that if you give them anything unique besides optics?

There may not be special loadouts for a lot of those mechs, but most of them have people who could be ascribed as Heros...

Summoner has Mechwarrior Horse.
Hellbringer has Mechwarrior Joanna
Mad Dog has Mechwarrior Trent (doubt there are many clanners who would call him a hero, though:P)
Nova has Diana Pryde
The Warhawk could have a better hero than Conal Ward, a disgraced Sohlama, in Ranna Kerensky, though I think her mech was standard.
Executioner could have Vlad Ward... Technically.... Didn't Ulric Kerensky pilot an Executioner? Or was he a Gargoyle pilot? I know it was one of the two...

Horse and Joanna may not have had bloodnames, but both earned the distinction of being in the Jade Falcon's Rememberence. And I will be VERY sad if the Summoner hero isn't ascribed to Horse.

Vlad Ward's Executionner from he used in Phellan's trial of possition would be beastly and also quite different from the regular ones... I doubt that thing would have either MASC or Jumpe Jets.
