Drivers are the limiting factor. The hardware stomps the 980ti. Just a shame AMD can't learn to fix their own drivers haha. I am buying a 980ti as upgrade from my r9 290. I love overclocking and 980ti has that to offer.

The fury is quieter, near to same specs as nvidia. The free synch monitors are cheaper. No HDMI 2.0 there should be an adapter for this soon as seen in ces but it is already 6 months after the original date so I would not plan on it yet. Also the 4 gigs is of a tech that is two generations better then gdr5. Thus it is not reasonable to compare 8 vs 4.
With this info my advice. If you monitor game or like quiet AMD. Also buy a second fan for the cooler and push pull it.
If you play on a 4k tv or want mwo 3d then go green.
This is simple and easy. Fit yourself in a group that fits best as it is right on par with the competition and the differences are so negligible even chips from the same manufacturer can fluctuate as much as they are different.
