So just ripping from my time in Dota, can we have a "Match found, click accept to confirm" when queuing for a game so that the chance of AFK is minimal?

Not sure if this would work. There will be those that have already accepted and then go AFK.

True, but that reduces the number of AFKs, regardless.

League of Legends does this too.
It is a very good tool to get matches with live bodies.
