Very happy to see the hunchback IIc! A few questions linger however. Mainly since we know these mech aren't omnimechs will we now get clan xl engines to purchase or will these mechs still be using innersphere engines?

Should be all Clan equipment and that includes Clan XLs.

As far as I know. They haven given a lot of info on them, but the page with the mechs lists max engine rating, so I am thinking they will be interchangeable.

Are IS XL and Clan XL engines the same weight?

IIC Mechs are considered BattleMechs, not omnimechs. Think of them as the same build rules as current IS mechs, internal, armor and engine type can be changed, no fixed equipment. Fixed hardpoints as per IS mechs. All Clan equipment.
