First thoughts. You have 2 SWOL and 3 MS players sync-dropping. It certainly did not give any of them an advantage. Not 1 broke 400 damage. Sync-drops happen. But also take into consideration, SWOL has over 400 members, MS has over 300.

Yep. I know about their memberbase. Good chunk.

I was just curious about how other people would see and comment on it. ;)

Bottom line is that if you want the game to be successful and grow you have to focus on the effort that the majority of your customers want focused on.........catering to the big groups (and I usually drop in a 6 - 10 man group when I play) is obviously NOT that effort.............

This is the truth. It doesn't mean you ignore the minority. It means they're not the priority.

I often wonder, if PGI created new maps and new game modes like Escort, Capture the Flag or Destroy the Strongpoint for the public queues BEFORE launching CW would there be as many PUGs playing CW (and complaining about it) because they're bored of the stale gameplay in the public queues? (Note: I'm not one of them -I don't play CW).

What you say doesn't matter. What you think doesn't matter. Your challenges don't matter.

So overall you don't matter one bit to me.

I am smart enough to know whose opinion matters. It' isn't you. So put your money where your mouth is or don't matter. You choice not mine.

All you have are accusations. Apparently with 1034 people on your list, anyone who disagrees with you gets added. The only thing that matters is facts. Fact is, the only one we know that is guilty of sync-dropping is YOU. You did it to farm pugs, prove me wrong.
As for me buying you a mech. Get a job, buy your own ****.

It's a game. People play the way they want to. If it bothers you so much buy out PGI can change the rules.

Yeah, when you're in a big unit, "sync drops" happen. You're just pug dropping and so are they, so you're going to end up in matches together. There is no intent, blame, or fault here, it just happens.

Im in CGBI, and we've typically got 20-40 people online 24/7. I expect to drop along side them or against them in roughly half my solo drop matches, particularly during ceasefire windows when everyone's doing that.

Doesn't give us an advantage though, as we're typically not on voice comms while solo dropping. Well, except in game VOIP which is available to everyone anyways..

No one is buying your bull anymore but your pals.

When solos drop and see five of the same faction tag and three with the same team tags they know its not random.

You clowns don't even hide it anymore.

Glad your on the watch list. You will end up the same as your other forum pal who made a point of sneaking a mud jab in every thread.

Psst! I only play solo and always have. So the only one full of bull is you.

Watchlist? Who do you think you are, the NSA or GHQ? LOL!

I've been playing MWO since CB, Mudhut, exclusively in solo queue, and not once have I seen a group of people with the same group exceeding two-- and that was only once. Joking aside, my elo probably is average to slightly above average, and I've dropped with the likes of Joseph Mallan and Allistair Winter, so I don't think my elo is shielding me from the horrors of "pro group" sync drops. What evidence have you to continually support this supposed sync dropping?

Do you know if the Bilderburg Group, The Rand corporation, or the Reverse Vampires have an opinion on this topic? Also, I found this tin foil hat on a grassy knoll in Texas and I think its yours.

Also, following the logic of some people here that 4v4 is even more fun, then 1v1 is the epitome of fun.

Factions still sponsor TS channels dedicated to syncing into solo. I checked last week and most were populated.

Its all part of the same denials like everything else we have come to find were true. Even after my team dropped into solo for a full month and announced it on the forums and in chat they still denied it.

Ridiculous people staying ridiculous. Nothing you can do about that.

I, and I am sure many others, distinctly remember you demanding voip as the fix to your sync dropping bogeyman. But when it was finally implemented, you just changed your tune from units to factions.

HAVE YOU READ MY OPINIONS?!?

As a Beta PUG back in 2012 I was for Groups being groups as a new player, with barely the ability to walk and torso twist at the same time! As a SOLO player I wanted to face teams cause elites can attack greens in this universe!

Ditto, especially the last sentence.

I love this nonsense about intentional sync dropping.

I'm part of a unit that has about 12 active members, and about once every week or two, we get an accidental sync drop. If it can happen that often with a tiny, casual unit, think how often this will happen with units with 100+ people. Heck, I'm surprised it's not happening almost every game at that point.

instead of strange, paranoid rage about "evil sync droppers" and lists of "bad people," how about we instead focus on fixing the horrible new player experience, the utter lack of needed documentation about key things in the game, and cleaning up the questionable match-maker so new players don't start in the middle and get seal-clubbed into quitting within a few weeks.

Not necessarily.
A balance is paramount-- Too much mechs and losing a good few can make matches lopsides-- too little and losing a couple can be crippling

Skirmish team is a 12 man made up of smaller groups.

That makes the whining about the 12-man bogeyman even more ridiculous then. And besides, that "new" 12-man skirmish bogeyman team still needs to coordinate among themselves.

Unintentional sync dropping happens even in smaller units.........we have 40ish folks in our unit, at any given time there are maybe 6 - 8 on unless it's a practice night..........on many occasions when pug dropping I've had unit members drop in the same drop I'm in, 50/50 as to whether they're on my team or on the enemy team.........if we are both on TS at the time then yep, we communicate, if we aren't then we don't.

Mudhut, there are 3 of us active in SRM right now, the other 2 mainly drop in CW but during Ceasefires they drop in the solo PUG que, same as I do. And oddly enough, we'll get dropped into the same match at least once a night, sometimes more often, because our Elos are all in the same range, nothing else.

The other 2 SRM are on voice comms, I'm not unless I'm dropping in CW, because I'm always on call and often have to step away for work. So when we get dropped together randomly, I can't talk to them, sometimes we're on the same side, usually we're not, and I make it a point to go hunt them down when they are the OpFor. Gotta show the troops that the XO really is better than they are or they get uppity, ya know? Maybe that's just a Pirate/Merc for the IS, but it's how the Clans work too, so it's old habit for me regardless, gotta keep the troops in line by kicking their asses once in a while right?

So you go ahead and put me and mine down on your little list there Mudhut, and you keep on telling us about the 'sync dropping bad guys' and how PGI knows ALL about them and you are privvy to inside information...

pssst, Mudhut, we all know that PGI has a list of all the current hack users, Russ TOLD US THAT IN THE TOWN HALL!

Now excuse me, my dog wants to discuss stellar life cycles and the possible effects of quantum strings on them.

No, no, no! According to someone here, there is a technique to do it. He has proof but does not want to reveal it unless you pay him.

Now that's what I call a true merc.

Honestly, I love Mud. I mean, the guy provides an endless amount of forum entertainment, year after year, without fail. Who else can harp on endlessly about issues that only he believes are really problems, while insisting that he's representing The Silent Majority, despite endless examples that he's full of ****. And then, he does it with such classic debating skills as "I know, but I'm not going to tell you".

But mostly, it's the pure determination in the face of everyone disagreeing with him, not just now and then but every single day.
