There is an extreme learning curve to this game, especially if this is your 1st time giving a MechWarrior title a go. I think there needs to be some sort of co-op missions for players to hone their skills and figure out how to play the game instead of getting roflstomped 24/7. Yes I know you can join a unit and have people help train you but I think this would be a great way to encourage more people to play the game. It also gives us veterans something to do to earn some extra C-bills. Also who wouldn't love a little co-op campaign game play, a lot of us are here from the original titles because we loved to the play game even though we know how cheesy the campaign could be.

Russ actually talked about this in the town hall, and specifically mentioned that co-op PVE would likely be coming next year. I know he also wants AI units to contest ghost drops in CW. He mentioned tanks and helicopters.
The new tutorial also apparently has voice work and scripted events, which should help immensely.

Before the new full-fledged gamemode featuring AI hits the game, just implement another mode of Testing Ground with mirror enemy AIs. You play in this Spielplatz with other players not unlike the regular public queue but the OPFOR is composed of mirror 'Mechs of your team driven by the AI.
I totally stole the idea from World of Warships (maybe the other Wargaming's titles also have this feature).

Jesus... I just had a look at role warfare in Armored Warfare. They have everything MWO promised to have and should have had, and the game isn't even out yet.
