They are alright, though the camo/colours suck.

I just wish they didn't have this camo pattern, because the flashy colours make it somewhat harder to evaluate the design. In particular, I think the Jenner's camo pattern just makes it look like a circus attraction. It works well on the Highlander though.

Pehaps a recolor would be more palatable. That blue and yellow color scheme is just wrong in every way for a battlemech.

I like 'em... The colours though? Made me think of this to be honest:
Guys... GUYS!
You can CHANGE the colors.
And, as for the pattern itself? Russ has already confirmed (on his Twitter account) that ALL 'Mech packs from Wave III onwards will have
full camo pattern support upon release. So you'll be able to put whatever pattern you want on these 'Mechs.

Yeah - the whole 'wide, solid and ponderous' look will never, ever cut it in an 80 tonner in MWO.
Shrink the width and height of the torsos, make the legs taller. The midget legs just make it look hilarious when it runs. Give it some twist speed so you can actually use those gigantic arm pauldrons to protect yourself. Raising the PPC mounts would make me ecstatic. Make the protruding mech-torials adorning the chest slightly less prominent, so the CT doesn't take fire from every angle.
I know Alex can do it - his newer designs have managed to capture all the nuance of what made mechs recognizable in BT, whilst retaining MWO functionality and viability.
Honestly, it would be amazing if they just made the Awesome more like its original miniature. It was never supposed to be a wide, fat 'Mech. In fact, it's fairly thin for an assault, more of a pillar than a wall. It's also supposed to be extremely resilient in lore... neither of which are true in MWO :/
