Welcome to the game! As the venerable lordtzar has already stated, there are several threads about the newest mechs that will soon be rolling off the digital assembly lines.

If you want to see what we already have and tinker with them, thou shoulds visit the smurfy mechlab and tinker to your hearts content.

If you want to know the viability of mechs overall, there's a site called metamechs that paints a pretty decent picture of the top performers for each faction.

In particular, next mech packs coming out are Clan Wave 3 (half of which is already out) and Resistence 2.
