When you hear someone say that there's a ton of something, and aren't impressed.

You strongly believe any problem, no matter how big or how small, like striving for world peace or simply openening a jar of pickles, can always be solves with an ample amount of Atlases.

You compare every girls looks to Yori Kurita.
"Yeah, she hot, just not Yori Kurita hot."

You know you are a Mechwarrior when... wait for it...

When someone speaks of The Great Wall of China, your mind conjures up an image of multiple Awesomes lined up in place of the wall itself. ZING!!!

You know you are a Mechwarrior if you find yourself condemning all of the people that annoy you to the deepest darkest pit of Terra Therma.

-When you get in your car/truck and start doing the pilot start up motions.

-When you cuss out loud when you realise that your car/truck has no cockpit.

-When you hear fireworks going off and wonder why is pgi using such lousy weak sound fx.

-When your boss asks over the work radio where you are and you reply with a grid location from one of mwo's maps.

-When your work replacement finally shows up you yell "welcome back, afker!"

-When you spot an airplane flying over head you yell "airstrike!" and dive for cover.

-When you see little kids runing around you are reminded of commandos and want to break their legs.

Fortunately, spamming Atlases is like 42, its the answer to everything... Wait a minute... What if you had 42 groups consisting of 42 Atlases in each group... YOU COULD DO ANYTHING!!

You watch a boxing match with your friends and suddenly you imagine the boxers as a Hunchback 4G and a Yen Lo Wang brawling. However saying things like 'That guy torso twists like a pro', 'He spreads the damage very well' or 'That last AC20 hit was very lucky' only grants you some irritaded looks.

Your wife / girlfriend is playing MWO too and 'take the hill' or 'push through the tunnel' has a completely different meaning to you ;)

You picked up a girl that is playing MWO too and 'You should have brought your AC20' or 'your TTK is too short' has a completely different meaning to you :(

You picked up a girl that is playing MWO too and she says afterwards 'You must be a light pilot. You're rushing frantically around without really penetrating anything and you're finished after 3 minutes'

Your girlfriend who is playing MWO too breaks up with you because when both of you were about to have fun, you accidentaly said 'God, the MM gives me the same boring map over and over again. I want to drop on that new exiting map that is in rotation'

You broke up with your girlfriend and you tell your friends 'That Caustic Valley is off rotation due to gamebreaking bugs'

When you get education in mechanical engineering just so you can build your own mech.

That's exactly what I am going to do.

When you think no one is looking, you begin to act like your piloting a battlemech and start making stomping sounds only to realize that some one is watching you, which obviously makes you feel embarrassed, but instead of trying to act like it never happened or to make an excuse, you simply think to your self "Damn it, I'm over heating, I must retreat." and then walk away continuing to make stomping sounds, or instead, "Target acquired." so you turn your "weapons" on the "target" and go "pew pew!!"

When you go hiking and see trees in terms of "that's about as tall as an atlas."

Any tree and building's hight are always compared to an Atlas. What other way is there?

I one time took a picture out of a man lift and sent it to my 11 year old son with the text - "This is what the view looks like from an Atlas."
