There is no reason for the Oxide to get more Missile hardpoints.

Jenner-IIC can go with smaller Streaks for shorter Cooldowns plus Cooldown Module, could even mix Streaks and non-Streaks. Splat-IIC?

No reason?

Jenner oxide: no jumpjets, 4M hardpoints. (4 weapon hardpoints)
Jenner D: 4 jumpjets, 4E hardpoints, 2M hardpoints. (6 weapon hardpoints, 4 JJ)
Jenner F: 4 jumpjets, 6E hardpoints, (6 weapon hardpoints, 4 JJ)
Jenner K: 4 jumpjets, 4E hardpoints, 1M hardpoint, (5 weapon hardpoints, 4 JJ)

Jenners general cap for highest hardpoints = 6,
Jenners general cap for highest jumpjets = 4
Oxide cap for weapons = 4
Oxide cap for jumpjets = 0

Also FYI, all Ravens got 5 hardpoints for weapons (one of them got JJ, another has ECM) but the hero one that is the main competator with the Oxide- the Huginn, has 6 total, not only that but it's main weapons currently got a 50% quirk. It also have jumpjets, and it can run faster.

The jenner oxide is a bad mech no matter if you compare them to the other variants of its' own chassis or the other 35 tonners (with hero) atm.

Jenner Oxide was originally nerfed from 6/5 Missile hardpoints and having jumpjets to having 4 missile hardpoints and no jumpjets because back then it would have been OVER POWERED to have a mech going over 90 kph with 5 to 6 SSRM 2's and jumpjets.

It isn't over powered at the moment. You would be lucky to see ANY mech with Streaks at the moment.

And that is just the tip of the iceburge.

"There is no reason for the oxide to get more missile hardpoints..."

Reason 1: has less hardpoints then all other jenners including the IIC's.
Reason 2: It has no jumpjets out of any jenner
Reason 3: has less hardpoints then the raven
Reason 4: the Huginn does anything the Oxide can do but better... even when you take quirks out of the question
Reason 5: it would not make the oxde over powered.
Reason 6: it already has the models of it in game, literally the ONLY thing PGI need to do to let the jenner oxide get 6 M hardpoints is changing 3 numbers... The art is already in game, the models, the hardpoints, etc...

No reason doesn't make 6 very good reasons.

Also there are issues with being 100% streak reliant and that is if there is 2 ECM mechs -you are screwed.
it is still lower velocity then normal is SSRM's or SRM's so if enemy has AMS you will get pain.
And lastly but not least having mixed weapons makes it harder for modules to work as you need more.

I've got a mechlab on my windows phone, and so far I would be able to run 4x SRM2s (4 tons ammo), 2x SSRM2s (2 tons ammo), 3 JJs, max armor, Clan Active Probe, all with an XL 300 (152.7 I believe with ST). With no extra heatsinks it'll run at about 39% heat efficiency, taking 14.2 seconds to overheat firing everything at 100% with no ghost heat... Gonna be a badass mech for sure. :)
