Be fore warned. I seem to be in a funk. If I drop on your team, I appologize ahead of time. I don't seem to be playing at my best right now and the matches I get put in are real ball busters. So if you see me on your team, pray to what ever deity you believe in that this match is where it all turns around. Good luck everyone!

i had a player like that some days ago, they apologized for as they said they brought loss to every team of theirs

I was on a losing streak yesterday. In my short-sightedness I felt that I could play MWO and have some moderate success and enjoyment by just logging in and having a play.

15 games later (genuinely) I recorded my first win of the session.

I really hope the matchmaker/ELO changes are coming very, very soon. The current system is simply untenable when it comes to simply wanting to "enjoy" this... "game"...

Welcome to my life in MWO. I get a chance to play maybe 2-3 days in a week, and at least one day is dedicated to losing massively for 8-20 games in a row before I start getting reasonable matches.

I had several matches in a row where 9/12 of my teammate's damage scores didn't even add up to mine. Either the player base is small, or the matchmaker wants me to continue to take breaks from MWO.

Focus on playing your best and supporting the team. And with a little luck, win or lose, the matches will be brutal and fun.

I kinda feel that my mixed load out "fun" builds are gonna have to be set aside for a while. Looks like I might have put one or two optimized builds in the mech bay for stretches like these. I hate doin it but, sometimes they are the only way to get out of these kind of situations.

Sometimes the only way to break out of a losing streak is to go meta.

Not exactly "fun" when you were in the top 2 or 3 of the team and the rest of them just capitulate as if they never ******* existed.

Lack of teamplay in Puglandia is expected but having at least some comprehension of what's going on around you would be ******* nice you know!!!

I really cannot wait for the upcoming mm update.

What build are you using, DJ?
A few weeks ago, I saw someone using a maddog with 1 LRM 20. That's all they had, nothing else.

Seeing that made me wonder if epic losing streaks might be somewhat self inflicted.

I am glad my install of MWO broke after Friday night. Two really great games with Gray Death then constant curb stomps. Either I was too aggressive or not aggressive enough for the matches.
