I don't really care about the tactical significance of doing so, I just think the hunchback without any hunches looks neat.

Who cares if you can't see anything outside of a 20 degree wedge in front of you, if you can blow the ever loving hell out of everything within that wedge?

Seriously, though; it's basically quite comparable to a 4G or GI on the battlefield. It's probably the least potentially problematic of all the IIC mechs.

One day a little hunchback surprised them at this sport, and without being afraid, he took them by the hand and began to dance with them, repeating also, "Sunday, Monday; Sunday, Monday."
He danced so prettily that the fairies were charmed, and to reward him took away his hunch. Perfectly happy, he returned home, constantly singing as he went, "Sunday, Monday; Sunday, Monday."
On the road he met another little hunchback whom he knew. The latter was greatly astonished to see his friend relieved of his hunch, and said, "How did you manage it? Your hunch is gone."
"It is all very easy," replied the other. "You have only to go to a certain wood, when you will find some fairies. You must dance with them and sing, 'Sunday, Monday; Sunday, Monday,' and they will take away your hunch."
"I will go, I will go at once," cried the little hunchback, and started immediately for the wood to which he had been directed, where, sure enough, he found the three fairies. Without hesitating, he took them by the hand and danced with them, repeating, "Sunday, Monday." But unhappily for him, he added, "Tuesday, Wednesday."
The fairies, indignant, added to his hunch that of the first hunchback, so that he was a fright to behold, so frightful that if you had seen him you would have run away from him.
And then ? -- And then the {LT-MOB-25} crew, and it was day.
it's how huncback iic appeared

Just don't move towards the light at the end of the tunnel!
...No, seriously, it might be a PPC or laser...

I also use track ir, and would love the HBK to get an upgraded cockpit. The hunch should be a blind spot, but it would be great to have some visibility looking left. So as I'm torso twisting to protect the hunch I can glance left and see all the ordinence coming at me.
Also, the Centurion could use more cockpit visibility. I'd like to be able to use the shield arm and see what I'm blocking.
I love the visibility in a lot of the clan mechs, especially the Stormcrow. It would be nice if IS mechs had comparable visibility.

is hunch cockpit isnt too bad. you can still kind of look left so i like to walk with my torso cranked right a few degrees and look ahead with my trackir in some situations to give me more peripheral vision.
centurion is bad but not too bad, there are a few extra degrees of vision to either side, though i wasnt a big fan of the chassis. still got the ah that you cant seem to get rid of.
i haven't met a clan cockpit that i didnt like. im not too happy with the shadowcat concept art but i hope to be proven wrong about that when it comes out.

Possibly, but we don't know yet.
Just to be honest, the hunchback IIC will have its mounts smaller than its IS counterpart, which won't hinder it much... I believe
