I'v been seeing alot of Dev bashing on the forums lately, and yet the people who bash the dev's (myself included) keep playing and posting..
So, I thought we should explore this love/hate relationship we have with our Dev's..
Ok, so everybody, please post 5 things you love about the dev's and/or what they have done apsolutely right with MWO...
Also, post 5 things that you hate about the Dev's and/or you think they did totally wrong..
here, I'll start:
Loving the Dev's for:
1) Making MWO free to play
2) Having the courage to take on an epic project such as the Battletech universe
3) Making the mechs, maps and the game in general look amazing
4) Doing the Dev vlogs, town halls and similar things to let us in on their creative processes, workspaces and generaly taking the time to connect with us as a community
5) Making the first MW game that has mechs that look different depending on equipment installed in them.
Bonus round - Loving you for the Tukayyid event.. One of the most fun thrilling things I'v ever done in a MW game.
Hating the Dev's for:
1) Beeing slow to provide content such as maps, mechs and game immersion
2) Making a game oriented solely on PVP instead of launching with PVE elements
3) Nerfing the Timberwolf
4) Constantly releasing mech pack that cost as much as full fledged games from other developers
5) Not listening to and not communicating with your player base even though your forums are aflame with sugestions and quality material
Bonus round - Origin mechs - Seriously, Dual UAC20 Hunchback?!
