Greetings Mechwarriors. I thought I'd write this post well in advance of the Warhammer's release to see what everyone thinks it'll have for quirks and what loadouts you're looking at for it. Naturally I suspect the WHR-6R and WHR-BW will have stronger quirks because of their hero mech status but what about the energy boat WHR-6D with 9 energy hardpoints or the WHR-7S with energy and missile hardpoints?

Move over Firestarter, we have a new small pulse laser king.

WHR-6D maxed armour, maxed engine, 9 small pulses.

I feel like PPCs are pretty meh even with quirks like on the MAD-3R, so I dunno about the variants that get PPC quirks. Laser boat version sounds cool, but the others are going to have problems making ballistics+lasers workable on a 70 tonner.

Its a shame that if they do have PPC quirks ZERO people are going to mount them in the arms.

I'm expecting Orion, with better hitboxes and much better hardpoint layouts.

Which means.. mediocre, tier3-4 heavy with potential to be half decent as long as quirks are fair.

Its going to require XL to be viable, but won't be XL friendly. ect.

I'm going to be running the WHM-6R as a WHM-6Rb.... So yea, I'm going to be running PPC's.... (With Endo and maybe a 350 standard if I can squeeze it in there)

Well, can't figure it exactly with tools on hand, but for my 6R I am hoping on a 300xl (is xl viable), near max armor, 2xPPC, 1xAC10, 4xML.

My 6D I haven't decided on, but probably a large XL, and 2x LPL/4xMPL never worried too much about using all the hardpoints.

Here is hoping that it will have SPL range quirks, cause IS SPL is basically useless on anything that is not a fast Light. Unlike the Clan SPL...

I suck at PPCs and always replace them with LPLs, so...I guess I'm saying mine will have LPLs. Plus it looks like all the hardpoints will be below chest level, so this thing is pretty much relegated to "brawler."

Big burly mech. Looks like a football player. I think I might keep the ppcs so I can learn to use them on a mech I deem fun to have them on.
