http://mwomercs.com/...s-for-re-scale/

Just a reminder to those who have not peeked into Announcement section lately. The sun had indeed risen from the west. PGI is willing to spend their time re-sizing 5 mechs of our choosing.

Want your Grasshopper to be not so tall? Want that Stalker to be bigger? You decide.
What are you waiting for? Get in there and vote!

--You can vote for multiple mechs per class.

--First round of voting will choose 3 mechs per class for 12 mechs total.

--Second round of voting will eliminate all but 5 choices from those 12 mechs.

--Third round of voting will then decide whether you want to scale down or scale up those top 5 choices.

i will give them that. a net has stated they will never go back and redo anything to old content unless it broken. to them its a waste of time because players will just get bored of it just as fast. better use of their time to work on new content. i know its kinda apples an oranges but still 2 game devs.

I don't know why the poll is set up to allow multiple votes in each category, so I voted for all the most obvious mechs. I'm suprised re-scaling didn't happen as mechs were being upgraded for dynamic hardpoints.

I chose...

Lights: Commando, Mist Lynx, Kit Fox, Adder
Mediums: Literally all of them
Heavies: Dragon, Quick Draw, Catapult, Mad Dog, Grasshopper
Assaults: Awesome, Gargoyle, Warhawk, Battlemaster

Hope you wanted the Commando to be bigger, not smaller than it already is. :o

I was comparing it to other heavier lights...though I do prioritize the Clan lights over it by a large margin.

You can argue for it to stay about where it is now, but making it bigger would just be dumb, especially considering that it's nearly extinct in-game...

I also forgot to mention that I voted for the Mist Lynx (mostly just needs the weapon geometry redone).

Bah, I'd argue that PGI should do away with Mist Lynx' fists entirely, and replace them with its energy pods. That will result in smaller and better looking arms. Same deal with Nova.

And Commando looks fine to me, for a 25 tonner.

Speaking of which, I think that ACs, Gauss, and PPCs on either mech, or actually any Clan mech, should ALWAYS go in the same place as the hand actuator would go. Since mounting them makes you remove the fist (and LAA), this is fitting.
