While we should welcome any new member with open arms, our strength rests in the maturity and experience of our mech warriors. Over the months this site has been functioning, the FWL has consistently had dedicated members who have behaved as mech warriors should. Let the other houses rant and rave and bluster, the FWL will shine when the LRMs fly and the lasers light the sky. As to numbers, the fewer our numbers - the more combat for our members. The more combat, the more experience and the better we become. We will not be outnumbered as matches will be 12 v 12. As we begin to show our superiority on the battlefield, we will draw quality recruits. Just keep in mind that greater numbers often only means a more target rich enviroment!

Let us welcome those who cast their lots with us at this time and incorperate them into our house as brothers and sisters, but let's not get too paranoid about raw numbers. THe other houses have a rich history due to the fiction and previous mech warrior games. We have a chance to make our own history (within the canon framework).

And in other news, the people of House Marik were saddened today when a bus full of ICBMs destroyed a kitten factory this morning.
There were no survivers.
The exclusive interview with one surviver says this.
"There were piles and piles of body's everywhere. No fur, no cuteness of any kind. And then the explosion struck!"
