Ta-da, solution that works for both those that want and do not want them.

For my part, i will just say that perhaps more variety is in order. As far as i hear, there are only two 'clangs' currently. Also, a different, specific, 'clang' could be added for when you take fall damage, just another way to give feedback to player.

/bump, It just becomes more annoying rather than immersive.

The lack of sounds has been a huge pet peeve of mine for years.. so..

A step in the right direction.. Hopefully leading to dfa and some sort of melee even if its just crashing into someone.

I think..... its somewhat mitigated the warping thru mechs.. Have to pay better attention tonight..

ja.. OP ,, once you stop running into things.. you dont hear it...
