Give the team that caps 60k+5k/ living enemy. So long as it isn't profitable people will be reluctant to do it. If folks just wanna fight, well that's why you added skirmish mode.

they should have kept a couple small lasers - they were hardly a threat and you would get at least some warning you are about to get capped
but good idea - make capping worth something so it's a viable tactic. right now capping benefits no one except for the winning team dealing with the 1 hidden shut down loser

Correct me if I wrong. You want to rush enemy base in like 30secs from match start, cap it, get 200k C-Bills, disconnect and go for another match?

Cap and get your 25k. Or kill enemy mechs and cap, and get 150k. Your choice, whatever

good point
how about a 'cash counter', similar to conquest, that starts at 0 and exponentially counts up (so starts very slowly, but goes up faster and faster until the 15min mark) to where if you capped the enemy base 5min in the match you might get 20k CB bonus (i'm not doing the real exponential math lol), but if you finish the cap in the last minute of the match your team would get a 100k CB bonus
so until halfway through the match you have to fight to make CB, but if the game is still going after halfway the teams might start eying the cash counter for the extra payout and consider capping
very rough idea, but it's a start of one
