Personally - and I know this is not a popular opinion - I'd rather skip back to 3025.

And yes, I know it will never happen, but still, it would have been so much nicer if they'd bothered to balance the tier 1 tech first (perhaps even with a proper heat system and imperfect convergence) before moving on to tier 2 tech and beyond.

Screw the issue of balance, its always changing, sadly the content is not and that is the issue! I barely play this game compared to most. I have had nothing to really do for over 2 years. What beat up the same randoms in the queue? Nah, I'll pass honestly games aren't close and I have zero challenge. Only challenge I get is when I go against a 12 man and my pugs die and I'm fighting off the horde. Even then sometimes I still win with a stomp. If I'm going to shoot mindless targets I want immersion and story to go with.
