I would like for the pins to be as streamlined as possible. The goal should be to funnel players new to CW to crucial information. Part that goal means reducing pin overload.

For example, the pinned thread regarding time lapses
http://mwomercs.com/...-cw-time-lapse/
hasn't been updated since January.... so just unpin it. It is literally just clutter.

Also, do we still need to pin the Tukdayyid queue screen stuff?

Lets just assume the new players which are getting roflstomped in CW have attention spans of practically zero and are nearly blind when it comes to sifting through clutter.

What say the mods and the community? What can be done with our CW forum to improve how information is delivered?

Completely agree about cleaning/streamlining the forum right now, and in the longer run, I would like to see a link in the actual game client back to the CW forums/your guide. There is quite a lot of misinformation currently floating around, and I would like to see new folks have easy access to solid information, as well as the faction forums for easier recruitment and such.

Hopefully the NPE PGI is developing for the Steam release includes guides for the essentials. I agree things are a bit stale here for current information though.

I recommend tweeting this so it gets read.

Not being a **** or sarcastic or anything... It's really encouraging when you guys listen to, and act on our (reasonable/sane) suggestions. Thank you!

been using this video

seems to pack more good stuff into a smaller 5 min package. If Spike Brave wants to try to make a super streamlined all-in-one CW video that covers factions, units, contracts, attack lanes/map stuff, and dropdecks, that would be something we could use from another perspective. A 2nd 5 min video could just cover only the combat portion and that would be great too. I dont make videos though so what do I know right :D
