Where as the PUG queue, you can get anywhere from 3-5 games in the same time span, have less waiting time, and more opportunities for a somewhat even game, though the chances of a ROFL-stomp are just as bad in PUG as in CW.

#1 there is no reason to fight for planets.
#2 12 people can't take planets anymore , You need at least 24
#3 Clan/IS balance is still way off for the top most used mechs.

Other than free mechbays, and MC that is far out of reach, I'm not earning enough to need those mechbays anyway, and Cbill rewards are also pretty poor every time I tried to play it.
There just isn't enough reason to make me want to play it.
Taking planets over and over which don't mean anything tactically.. just doesn't do it for me.
There are no objectives, no rewards, and no value from planet to planet, its just the same thing over and over.
Balance between IS & Clan tech still has huge gaps too, why subject myself to that when I can just play pub and get the same thing quicker.
I'd like to offer suggestions, but honestly don't know where to start..

"If People Don't Start Populating CW, CW is Toast."
The game got by for years on the regular queue, it will continue to do so after CW dries up, dies, and has to be reinvented to be less singularly awful for anyone not in Mercstar.
I don't get to sit down and budget four hours of my time in single big blocks to play a game mode less rewarding, both financially and fun-nancially, than the regular mode. Invasion is a good idea executed horribly, respawns should never have happened, and CW folks screamed at solo players so long and loud to stay the ^$%! out of their game mode that, shockingly enough, they all did just that.
What gets me is why those same CW players keep tromping over here to GD and saying "Y U gaiz no play CW?!" Excuse me Sherman, you told me not to. Loudly, and with much rancor and venom. Enjoy your wasteland. The only Wasteland I'm interested in playing in releases on November 10th. Until then, I'll enjoy my regular queue games with a smile on my face and a cheerful wave for the schmucks in CW who got us this sweet Dropship spawn-in on the best map in the game.
Only thing of importance CW has ever accomplished.

Well, it most certainly did not come from me or from the other players -- solo or otherwise -- I regularly encounter while playing CW.
And so, again, the reason is something else ...

Yeah but how often have you claimed to be the exception to every rule, Mystere?

Pretty much what I said, just more eloquently described. Good job sir.
But yeah, CW pretty much seems to be "Top-Tier Comp-Meta Territory" only these days, and you know what, I'm fine with that, but what I'm not fine with is those same players suddenly coming back here wondering why no one plays CW.
Because people like me are sick of being ROFL-stomped or spawn-camped due to the inherently broke-as-shite setup of CW. Yes the PUG queue has its own problems, but none are as bad as what CW has.

I have to disagree Mei. The game does not have to be fun in every corner for me as a PUG. I like that there is a place where the groups are meant to be groups.
Unless You are of royal blood its the Mech Commands that do the work. And Jamie Wolf or Kai Allard Liao don't always pull a miracle... Well Kai...
