Have you played a dire or an Atlas? Noticed you need speed to take an obstacle? Have you had those problems walking around nature? you know you walk up to a stone in the forest and you tell yourself, if I walk a bit faster and get up some speed I might be able to pass that stone. Nope me neither... which is why PGI needs to fix how mechs walk over stones, peebles, acceleration and deceleration.

Mechs arent cars

Well it is true that Mechs in MWO can't really do many of the things you'd expect a mech to do.. such as crowch, jump, walk and climb over opstacles higher than they ankles, or have their feet angled to match the surface they are standing on..

I guess that's cose of Cryengine.. Or maybe the Dev's think it would mess with performance.. or maybe they just don't care about such petty details..

We will never know..
