I am very curious how it works to be honest. Do they have variables based on:

Mech weight
Pilot statistics
Weapon loadout
Faction
How many people group up prior to que

Is there an internal rating of some kind attributed to each player? I've been scanning the forums to look for these answers, but maybe I am just blind....The last two days of pug ques have been especially rough.

P.S. I am recently back in game after a very long hiatus....

The MM matches based on player Elo and attempts to construct teams of 3/3/3/3 weight class. Each player has an Elo score for each weight class.

The recent hit registration fix has also made the TTK a lot lower, and matches snowball MUCH easier into 12-0, 12-2 stomps now.

Thanks for the info. That may explain why I was doing so well, and then suddenly felt like I was getting slapped around shortly thereafter. I take it the ratings are not viewable?

No they are not....

You can get an idea...but nothing concrete unfortunately. PGI keeps it a secret which is good and bad but we really dont know what they use to get Matches.

Groups dont matter though, well the size does but only in the group queue. Solos only in the solo queue.
