So I live about 4hrs dive from PGI in Vancouver Canada, and I ping about 140ms consistently. When I pull up the player list in game, I see that 80 or less is a lot more common.

So is this a Western thing? If you're North America West, what's your ping like?

[EDIT] I found out the server is in Montreal, so I guess I'm not as close as I thought I was!

Typically mid 80's, occasionally low 90's. Central California.

Recently though Comcast has been having weird issues with routing, so my ping will be anywhere from 80 - 150 (as are all my friends, also on Comcast).

I imagine it is a Western thing since the servers are on the other side of the continent. If you see people with amazingly low ping surely they are in Eastern Canada or the Northeastern US.

Im in Ontario near TO, since closed beta my ping was around 30. But since last month Im getting spikes around 250! A tracert showed that a bridge on Chicago (at least the address said something chicago) is giving the high latency.

Sub 20 ping and the player lives in either quebec or eastern ontario.

From Chandler, Az I hold ping in the high 60s to mid 70s.

Well I did the tracert to the server, and it looks like there's a bottleneck somewhere in New Jersey where my ping jumps from 70ms to 140ms =(

I guess it just bad luck that it's routed through there from my location in the West.

Seems the server is actually in Montreal, not Vancouver.

I had 70's to 80's when I lived in california bay area. I Had comcast. Moved to pensacola Florida and now i have 40-60's with Cox.
