I know people get accused of cheating that aren't plenty of times, but on the other hand obviously there are quite a few people who are actually cheating. PGI's own name and shame on the bans of cheaters is self evident of that. Without some sort of 'punk buster' UI to Server cheat catching after a patch is going to be lucky to catch even 1% of the actual cheating player base. I do appreciate that PGI has stepped up and is doing something to try to curb this but it's not enough.

I'm assuming of course that PGI's vision is still for this to be an esport. Even built in anti-cheat isn't going to catch them all but it will make the actual producers of the cheat software have to work much harder to provide the cheat as well as curb the player base from wanting to use the cheat if they know there is an active detection system in place.

I thought this should be brought up again since there is focus upon game balance again. All the game mechanic balancing in the world doesn't mean anything if little to nothing is being done to counter the cheat software.
