I had to have it soon as I saw it, 55s are a bit of a thing for me. It has been fun Eliting it. Solid mech.

I tried a few different builds but this is what I finally settled into. I usually go with a big laser or 2 but this mech is wicked in a knife fight.

QUARANTINE

Dropping down to this turns up the speed but just doesn't murder as well.

As much as I love the Wolverines. i felt like the quarantine was a letdown and not much different than the other variants. If they ever put that sucker on sale I might have to tweak it a little bit.

it's not inherently a bad mech. it's just worse than all other variants of the chassis. the lack of any meaningful quirks doesn't help it either.

I also like how they give it brawling- and quasi-zombie-oriented armour quirks... but remove the chin laser.

I don't own one but did think of putting a Small engine in the thing and use half you body to tank the damage since all its weapon hard points are on one side.

Its pretty tough though a head a ct energy hardpoint would be great. Just something about it, overall I like it better than the other 2 variants I have.

I'm a huge fan of Wolvies, but this was kinda a let down. It's difficult to use all the energy hardpoints with any useful Autocannon. It really should have had armor quirks on both side torso's too. It doesn't do missiles as well as a 7K, lasers as well as 6K or ballistics as well as 6R. And the hardpoint placement doesn't lend it well to any unique combinations.

Ended up getting this in the sale past there, and yea..no idea what to do with it now the small engine idea didnt really hold up..

However I am having some luck with -

Xl - 325 engine - 105 kph

2 jumpjets

3 Double heat sinks

Weapons :

Ac2 - 2tons ammo

Erppc ( fire weapons togethe )

Backup weapons

2 Small palse lasers ( less heat )

2 srms 1ton ammo ( find they work well with the small lasers )

Mostly full armor 10 in the left arm

45 each leg

cool paint job

I like it, but I also agree with what has already been posted above. I run 2 srm4s, 3 med lasers, and a ultra 5. I also have ams, and I believe 4-5 jumpjets. At first I wanted to take the XL 275 out, but after playing around with it I decided to keep it in.
