Early I built MW4 style mechs, but now its looks like a toys. Cause it so low details and primitive shapes. And I decided construct paper model acording MWO style.

Great thx my friend KK195 (he already made Atlas) which helped me in my work.

At first, want to say model based by moduled construction with variable parts of equipments and weapons. (AMS, rockets, lasers and etc.) So posible to chose which conf. gonna build.

Scale 1/72 and approximately heigh 24cm.

Some parts are movable.

Paper model finished by 85% and I show 3D sketchs.

Thx!
I decided to built conf. Aidan Pryde's mech.

Posted Image

Conf. consist
2 ER Large Lasers
2 ER Medium Lasers
1 ER Small Laser
2 LRM-20
Jump Jets

Posted Image

So it should be Jade Falcon's Clan. I couldn't find some Information about paint jobs of this mech and decided to make triple camo.
Model will be blank (without textures, becase I have a few experience on it and have insufficient time) and prepared for paint jobs by acryl paints.

Aidan Pryde's Mad Cat would have been painted in the colors of the Falcon Guards, which were/are part of Gamma Galaxy.

"Gamma Galaxy uses appropriate camouflage. Clusters trim their machines and equipment with jade, except the 9th Talon, which has blue trim."
"A diving jade falcon in front of a snow-white world is Gamma Galaxy's insignia."

Damn! Thx a lot!
Books are read few times, but I don't remember smth about paintins. It was my first books about mechs ^_^ .

Information from sarna also was read early and I know about but

Its treasure for me.

My mistake, I was must ask about it before. Now paintjob at finish stage.

I don't suppose you could make one with a guass rifle one one of the shoulder pods and a erppc in the other shoulder pod?

Not many people will show the secrets of doing these type of models due to the complexity and time involved... but if you would grace us with that eye candy so some of us may give it a try would be really, really, really cool B)

I'll second (? Third?) wanting to see all stages of construction. I enjoy making this kind of stuff myself and it'd be fascinating to see someone else building something from scratch, especially considering the progress you've already made looks absolutely amazing to my eye.

Yes please. Looking good, the structure is a lot more than expected. I would like to build this too, when the plans are ready.

Posted Image
