I was worried it would be worse. Shadowhawk worse. Like looking through a cardboard tube.
Those side windows really open it up, though I'm a little sad they didn't look up. Doesn't the Shadow Cat have a window on the roof on the outside? Would love to see that beautiful skylight.

I guess I'll be joining the "I hate 'Auto Detect: No' monitors club" I just wanna reach out and rip off that little monitor poll on the left.

Plz PGI just remove that top monitor on the left? It's an eyesore that's blocking the front windshield.

Cockpit Preview: Shadow Cat (with ending dedicated to Twilight Fenrir)
Now that I've seen the Shadowcat's cockpit, I'd like to challenge PGI to replicate the Strider's hideous/sweet abstract cockpit. I'd like to see the Cicada replaced already. Even though the Strider isn't really a great mech, I'd like to see if PGI can make that 3rd-floor Condo window mech in the Strider more useful that it was in MW3.... But that's a side-note.
Good job.

Ok, I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
Both cockpits look absolutely great! Especially the Arctic Cheetah cockpit. But if they ever get the cockpit monitors to work in this game, the Shadow Cat cockpit is going to be the coolest in the game. And the 6MG Shadow Cat is so heavy metal! I just wish it vomited empty casings, like fountains of brass.

Made me chuckle. I'll get over the shadowcat's cockpit eventually, the shadowcat and i are a match made in heaven in every other way. I'm still going to declare for the rest of my life that the top left monitor needs to be deleted though. Expect a poll soon after release.

Wow, the Arctic Cheetah cockpit looks great :3 I'm surprised the shoulder things aren't visible on the sides, though don't think for a second I'm complaining about that
Shadowcat... I honestly thought it would be more open like the Cataphract from the glass, but, it's still pretty nice n.n
Thanks Bombadil for the P Variant!
OMG, when did we get Flares in MWO? Hahaha, God help you if you get caught on a night map, you'll light up night vision like the sun! It's a beautiful mech, can't wait to tear into people with it!

They used to have 1 monitor do something.
Remember when the cockpit used to show how many heat sinks you had?

All I'm saying is, give it a function or please remove it from my front windshield, I need to be able to see in a fast mech like the shadowcat.

Yep. And I think I've seen a screenshot of a cockpit monitor that accurately displayed your ammo location and type.
When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, PGI will fix the cockpit monitors.

Agreed... they could literally show just about ANYTHING and they'd be awesome I know some mechs have working heatsink monitors, some mechs have Ammo count monitors the level of working varies...
For the ShadowCat... I'd love to see that monitor display MASC status

They just HAD to do it... i guess people were having too much fun and were too excited about these... PGI did this so we don't die out of excitement overload... ... some annoyance level to balance it out.
They could not touch quirks just yet... so something constantly in your face would do the job.
