Hello guys,

As a young kid I picked up my first BT novel from a second hand store, as the books were already out of print by the time I was old enough to read them. I've very nearly collected all the books now and I've started to look at the source books for further immersion into one of my favorite series.

Which source books would you recommend? I've managed to find a copy of The Wars of Reaving so far locally.

Field manuals containing story/history is acceptable as well.

Some of the sourcebooks that I find really good are the old House books that describe the 5 Major Houses of the Inner Sphere somewhere around the year 3025. History, personalities, Socio-Political structure, Military-Industrial structure. Loads of information that helps the universe to become even more alive.

And the very best thing? They are available as legal downloads (though unfortunately without any illustrations except for the Davion book). Though if you like them you can always try and hunt down the genuine stuff.

"It is the year 3025 and americans are extinct."

How did that plotline get written in? What's the nationality of the person who came up with it?

Is that in one of the House Books? Which one? Regardles, the House books are from the late 80's, so that's after the Internet actually became something and Mark Zuckerberg was around 4 years old...... ;)

Thank you very much for posting these links! I was just wondering last night how I could find the print book and if it would cost a few body parts. This definitely helps.
