Do DC'd mechs have some AI added so they can shoot back?
-----
At the end of my last game, there seem to had been 2 DC on the opposing side. We hunted down one, and then I found the last--an Atlas standing idle in a cove on the River City map (looks like starting spot for the other side, but I don't remember the maps too well).

I figured he must have D/C'd so I crawl up and dropped my last SRM on him (I was in a locust, so I'm down to a small laser after I'm outta ammo). Then he whipped around and blasted me. I was totally freaked out.

The guy have very little damage, if any, which is why I assumed he definitely was DC'd. I know it's possible he just crawled back there to hide, but I'm secretly hoping this is some AI takeover, and that it means PGI is slowly adding the AI building blocks toward playing against AI (the dreaded PVE?)

He probably reconnected just in time to do that.

No they don't have any AI on DCs. The guy in the Atlas had either reconnected, or was hiding/powered down but when you started shooting him he powered up and started fighting.
