There are more Battlemechs than one person could ever hope to remember. We all know about the super popular ones like Marauder's that we would love to see someday, but what about more rare or less known mechs?

While I don't disagree, this thread was more to have fun discussing rare and esoteric mechs.

Although considered a battlemech meant to mimic the Timber Wolf different people started to fiddle with it resulting in more variants drifting away from mimicing the Timber Wolf and made the Rakshasa have more roles.

Heres the biggest drift away from the mimicing the Timber Wolf from sarna wiki.

Stone Rhino, could be good if scaled correctly. The drawing exaggerates the cockpit, guns, and feet a bit. There is one painting, but it's not on Sarna.

Chameleon.

There's 5 variants that use timeline appropriate tech, though as I recall some of them are 3056 or later intro date.

Fast jumping 50tonner (6/9/6) with a nice look and lots of hardpoints for ballistics and energy spread over several different sections. A nice change from the current crop of mediums with few hardpoints typically shoved into 2-3 sections.

Guillotine looks intriguing once it was upgraded with Lostech.
