Good programs have the option to select the audio output device in the options, rather than just automatically using the default sound device like this game does.
Its annoying because web browsers also use the default sound device, so if im watching Netflix or whatever i want the sound through my speakers, but i tend to want the sound through my headset while gaming, especially while using teamspeak, means im constantly having to change the default sound device (and restart MWO when i forgot, since unlike web browsers it wont change dynamically, it will stick with whatever default sound device was selected when it was launched)
Not a hard change to make, and adds quality of life.
