Like i said there everything should be cut by half already. You can still have sales after that, they would make a lot of stuff like single camo dirt cheap. What else is dirt cheap on the internet? STEAM SALES and what happens then? Everyone spend much more cash than they ever intended to and in the end spent more than they would have without a sale. I have tons of games i never even installed but at 3$ it;s mine. Steam Sales have meme now because of this.

Steam have one ace that others don't though, easy 1 step real cash purchase, not a system of points deliberatly made so you can't buy exactly what you need and either need more are are left with point you can't realy use. So it's much easier for steam users to spend their cash instead of facing a 2 step system meant to defeat them in the first place.

MW4 Mercs...Camo and colors came with the game already when the game was bought for $40.00 or so.
Spent over 10 times that much on this game....so...i think i am done.

side note. I am still pushing for a 16 Weapon Atlas....return the Atlas to its glory of KING OF THE BATTLEFIELD.

I don't even bother with camo or colors or what not. It's a ripoff. The only things I really want/like are warhorns. I have a ton but I want more .

Again I got excited at the prospect of applying Faction camo to my non package clan mechs.

Then remembered/realized 'one-shot' is not on sale. PLEASE put one shot anything on sale again!


HOWEVER, great sale for Warhorns! Everyone go stock up on Steiner - you'll feel like a rock star / super hero every time you kill someone! BEST WARHORN EVER!

Soooo...instead of doing an event where we can earn something (like warhorns or camo patterns or, perish the thought, colors), you're going to have a sale where we have to spend a ton of money.

Seriously. Every time you people deliver on what you've been promising, every time you do something you should have done ages ago, you go and do something like this: "Give us money!!!!!"

Look. It's getting old. We recognize the game isn't free for YOU to make. Payroll, benefits, equipment, workspace, utilities, licenses, it takes a lot of money. Quit nickel and dimeing the playerbase. Be honest, for God's sake, you need money to make the game, make the advancements and we understand that, we appreciate that. A subscription would bring in dollars, a small one, say $10.00 USD a month, that would equate to a lot of cash very regularly. And a lot of hard core players would be on board with that. But when you do this, trade off a weekend event that gets people playing hard for "buy our stuff"...you could do that across the week. Keep doing events and getting the playerbase actually PLAYING instead of playing dress up with mechs.

"In lieu of" means instead of, in the place of. So, there is no tournament or challenge, instead we're getting a sale.

The current mix of sometimes an event (usually with a sale) and sometimes just a sale is good. Hosting events costs time (unless they rehash the same type of event), which might be needed for something else (tomorrow is patch day!).

And we just had a sale where I could spend all my c-bills: Yay, 7 new mechs!
Now these mechs need to be dressed up with the MC earned from earlier events.


And to PGI: I did not need new FRR medallions (just flags, a mug and a warhorn), but could you put them on sale, too?
