Aww, i just realized today was the last day. Think i missed the deadline by a few hours. Wish i saw it from pgi's facebook page sooner. Ah well. Cool event and cool stuff everyone.

To add, when you have more free time, it's sometimes fun to explore these and let them run off on their own. They can lead to some very interesting situations. And never, ever, be afraid to kill your bunnies. No matter how much you get attached to them. It can be painful at times, but it's usually worth it in the end.

Well I did that. I still got the original post, but I have to say it's not my best work. It just seems clunky to me. Most likely I'll just clean it up some and use it elsewhere.

It will always and forever be like this, no matter how many times you rewrite, you, the author of the piece, will always find fault in it. You are your worse critic. I do the exact same. The piece I wrote, I devoted an hour of my time to. I wrote it at midnight when I saw the post and now I keep finding things that I could edit and rewrite. I saw the post, an idea popped into my head and I wrote a bit of flash fiction. But, there is a moment when you finally realize that nothing you do will ever be truly complete in your eyes and you just have to step back and say, "Okay, I'm done with this one" and move to the next. Otherwise, you'll end up in the bottom of a rum bottle like 'Oh so many authors have.

Yep. I usually have the Missus give everything a look over, she's my biggest fan. Bias I know, but still... She's pretty helpful with helping me describe things as what I'm seeing in my head doesn't always make it to my fingertips. She'll give me a look and go, "That makes no sense." lol.
