THREE UAV didn't break Clan ECm on Caustic.

UAVs are not meant to COUNTER ECM like BAP would, but rather SPOT for ECM like what TAG does vs ECM.

You do get the "counter ECM" bonus for spotting them though.

Yes, they do. I had one UAV break ECM with at least 2 carriers on the enemy team on Canyon tonight.

For Mechs standing outside of an enemy ECM:

• you can target any Mech inside the UAV range, ECM or not.
  
• you can lock-on missiles on any Mech inside the UAV range.

When inside the range of an enemy ECM:

• you may target enemies because of a general "close-enough" rule, UAV or not.
  
• you can't get missile lock.

Counter-ECM rewards are mislabeled when using UAVs. Should rather say something like "locked-missile damage to enemy ECM-Mech" (because your UAV made it target-able).
