EDIT: besides Khan
Allow me to educate you.
Clan words that are Mongolian:
Abtakha--A warrior captured but then accepted into his new Clan as a warrior. From Mongolian word "Abtakh", meaning, "taken".
IlKhan--The ilKhan is the war leader of the Clans, elected from the members of the Grand Council. He or she also serves as arbiter between Clans in times of crisis, acting with the power of the Grand Council. Historically coined by the Mongol Ilkhanids of the 13th century--Ilkhan meant "small khan", under the power of the Great Khan.
Khan--KHAAAAAAN!!!
Keshik--The unit which provides a Khan's bodyguard.
Kurultai--A kurultai is a Clan war council. A Grand Kurultai is a war council involving all of the Clans. Traditionally, Grand Kurultai are held in the Hall of Khans on Strana Mechty and may only be convened by the petition of three of more clans. An ilkhan may call a Grand kurultai at any time or place.
Touman--The term used for the fighting arm of a Clan. A "tumen" historically was 10,000 men unit in the Mongol army.
Now those are just terms. Here are Mongol names used as Clan Blood names:
Anu--Clan Hell's Horses
Kharlan--Clan Wolverine
Mandaka--Clan Jade Falcon
That's not all. There are two--not one but two planets in the Inner Sphere that are named after the capital of present day Mongolia--Ulaanbaatar. Both belonged to the Federated Commonwealth in 3050.
Ulan Batar. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Ulan_Batar
Ulan Bator. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Ulan_Bator
Along with the Clan ties, as far as I know, there are no other nations that has two planets named after their capital in Battletech lore. Mongolian flag deserves to be sold in MWO.

those are important separate european countries, unlike parts of uk which all could have 1 flag
greeks should be glad that they got a flag and turks didn't
also it's funny that ukraine got a flag and belarus didn't, how it's worse than ukraine

Hungary was one of things what I found suprising. It isn't a pocket state and it isn't a new state at all. (Actually it's one of the oldest european states and many neighbouring countries - like e.g. Slovakia - was born in the fall of the Hungarian kingdom a century ago) And as part of the EU there is no question is it european or not.
But I could say the Baltic states aswell. Despite they are politically new and quite small countries, they are indeed independent states.
So if they aren't on the list why do we have e.g. Scotland on it? Scotland isn't an independent state atm (yes I know, we will see...), it's part of the UK. So why? But if they can have a flag then what's up with Catalunia and many other similar territories?
So I just dont know who made this list but seem he/she had no idea about geography/politics and - as I know from some countries - not even that where the whole Battletech/Mechwarrior franchise is popular at all.
