The "plus 2 Standard Variants" part of the package, do you need to wait til december to access these?

You have to wait till December to get any of them. Buy early and put faith in the company and you get an extra variant, so 4 mechbays, 4 mechs and some fluff items like warhorn and camo patterns.

True, didn't think about that since I have so much banked already it is a non issue for me, then again having that time is because I bought packs.
