Hi There,

It is well passed the time that our Mechwarrior Units received their own HeadQuarters!
Units have c-bills, which can be used to rent the Unit HQ.
The Unit HQ will be situated in the units current house / clan space on a world that is available.
Consider it a rental unit, you put something down, then pay every month.
When the Unit leaves, they leave behind their HQ and have to setup another one - BEFORE they can engage in CW.

The benefits of the HQ will be many, reduction in repair costs soon to be reintroduced into the game.
Mech and Weapon R&D can be carried out, researching weapons, modules, and consumables; all taking time to progress and complete, and would be lost if the unit changes its HQ

HQ's will be attackable by 1 other unit, one attack a day, 5 successful attacks would destroy it and all the R&D progress that was being worked on.

There are many things that the HQ will do for, and require of the Unit, to work together as a team..

Regards,

Mechwarrior Araevin.

Not a bad idea at all. How Mechwarrior intends to include units on the galaxy war map is anyones guess. How they will include all players for that matter is a guess since they havent really done much with the map itself yet. Although the planet attack routes seem to be done really well with the next few updates.
