OK so it has been a while since I played the game. I was playing the game after the Clan Wave 2 collection dropped but stopped playing for a while to pick up some other games (Supreme Commander, Warframe, League, Batman, etc. etc.).
But when I came back at the start of the month I realized - my depth of field change to the user.cfg files is no longer working. I've done a quick google search but I can't find anything recent, all the guides and topics etc. that I've found are all archived topics from 2012 or 2013. I like changing the Field of View so that it doesn't feel like my pilot has his face smushed up against the glass in the cockpit, and it helps add immersion to the game.
But I'm messing around with my user.cfg file and no changes I'm making are working. I can't increase the base zoom, decrease it, or anything. None of the changes are working at all. Did they change the game to ignore the user.cfg file? It used to be OK for us to edit it to suit our needs. Or has the way to adjust FOV changed?
I'm sorry if this isn't the right forum for this but I didn't see a general "Technical Help" forum aside from the Help for Newcomers forum.
