Are The Voice Chat Servers Listed In This Forum Still Good?

I also noticed that some of the houses have their own voice servers, is that a good place to start?
Basically I'd just like to be in a situation where maybe I could drop with some people as a group and we could coordinate with voice chat.
Thanks much for any information provided.

Glad to see more new players already trying to drop with groups.
See you on the Battlefield my friend.

comstar NA works for me at na1.mech-connect.net password: WordofBlake
NGNG might be a bit more lively, though! voip01.n1585.hypernia.net port: 9992 password: mechwarrior

I guess for the benefit of any other n00bs like me, so far I've found NGNG to be the best "starting spot" for teamspeak/in-game voice chat. I mean, every voice server I visited had friendly people, but . . . I'm trying to think of the best analogy here for non-MWO people. It's like the first time you found out in World of Warcraft that guilds existed and suddenly you found yourself awash in an ocean of information you didn't really know was out there. Because voice chat in this game tends to be very linked to clan/faction identity/community, just trying to wade through it had that same feel to it. NGNG, because it isn't specifically affiliated like that (as far as I could tell), lets you start your journey in a small chunk instead of a big one.
Thanks specifically to the House Davion and House Steiner servers for offering a welcome environment to me just kind of wandering in off the streets. I'll be back once I take my water wings off

No COMSTAR NA1 is still going strong. We host 200+ players in a 24 hour period.
Your link is off. it is " NA1.MECH-CONNECT.NET ", You forgot the Hyphen. And there is no longer a password, hasn't been for a couple of years now.
