First I think I'm wrong but... Another Crab shoot my leg with 2xgauss. New armor, 64pts. It set leg to red with single shot (60dmg).
Another case. Griffin shoot 3xASRM6 to side torso, destroy armor in single shot (70 pts).
Weapon does double damage or armor less twice randomly.

Yes i have noticed that too it takes alot of damage with few hits from any weapon

I've noticed a few (lot?) instances lately in which my assault's armor seemed to vanish with startling quickness, sometimes without any sound or visual notification that I'm even taking damage. But I chalked it up to my poor positioning. The odd thing is, however, that never used to happen, at least not as fast as it happens lately. Not every time, but sometimes. Other times my assaults are as survivable as ever (well, as survivable as they can be).

yep time to kill is insanely low since ebon jag and exe got released...
maybe this is HSR counting the shots as double for some reason (perhaps to better sync host and client) and this results in double damage, though it is also wonky about not receiving damage at all... the whole thing is messed up

Maybe it is connected to the very first hit on your mech not connecting properly. This "magical" shield seems to occur in almost every match. If that damage is only applied later, it may look like more than the actual second hit.
