First post EVER in the forums - hopefully this is the right thread for it...
I'm driving...
Windows 7 Pro service Pack 1
Toshiba Satellite A505 Intel 2.13 Ghz
4 GB ram
NVidia GeoForce 310M Gfx Card
A lot of patches in the last few months have not been 'small'. The basic small packet hot fix items get uploaded thru the patcher and installed, then the patcher 'glitches' and tells me I have another patch to install, which is massive.
Both the patcher and the repair tool tell me I have to update many major files to the tune of 600-850 GB worth. I've run the massive reinstall a couple times, and it allows me to play the game, but the same damn bug pops up with each and every new hot fix.
I've even stopped the repair tool partially through the process, restarted and played the game with no problems. I tried changing from 64 bit to 32 bit but that seemed even more buggy.
Right now the game loads fine (64 bit) and I can run training grounds exercises for many maps and mechs - but I'm getting kicked out of active matches back to Mechlab by a "Connection Error -Disconnected from Game Server" on the opening map window that has nothing to do with bad connections on this side. I am given the option to rejoin, but get kicked again the exact same way.
Running RepairTool right now pops up yet another long list of glitchy files including "applejack.pak" and "objects.pak" which are some of the largest pieces to the game. Is there a glitchy update "patch" file or a log entry I can remove or something that will tweak the Repair Tool so it stops insisting on so many massive updates?
Thanks in advance...
