So I see all these forums, yet as I dig through them I fail to see the most important. Where the hell is Comstar in all this? They died? Oh, I guess I didnt get the memo. As an ex member I guess that happens....

They're neutral.
They have a standing army in this period, but they use it strictly for defense of HPG stations - which never get attacked anyway, because they're the only ones that can use them, and any Inner Sphere power to attack one of those stations would have their interplanetary communications cut.
Loss of communications would make any one faction easy pickings for conquest.
Long story short, if you play Comstar, things are going to be really boring until the clans arrive, and once the clan invasion is over, you don't do much more than be a standing army.

That and if you play ComStar, you're obliged to make daily offerings to the spirits of all your household appliances irl

Actually I was referring to my fellow Comstar people From MPBT. The title is correct. I guess I should have went into more detail, sorry.
