hi all, I was wondering if there is a way to hack the mwo files to tell it to dump the temp files into a different folder on another drive?

I have an older SSD that is quite small, so I run MWO installed off my storage drive. when I try to update it sends the temp files to my C drive and maxes it out so I can not update or play any longer.

any work arounds besides deleting more stuff from my SSD?

The temp folder is an OS wide setting in the environment variables.
Assuming you are using Windows 7:
Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System settings ->Environment Variables

You'll see values for TEMP and TMP and one of these values is what most programs use to determine where to write the temp files. Edit both settings to reflect the location you want to use and then all programs will use that location after a reboot.
